Show Notes

DeLani Bartlette, a Fayetteville resident, has spearheaded a local chapter of Strong Towns to promote safe streets and urbanist policies in the city. Strong Towns is a national organization that seeks to replace America’s post-war, suburban-style pattern of development to create safe, livable, inviting communities, according to its website. The organization encourages residents in a community to collaborate with local governments on planning initiatives.

Today, we'll talk with Bartlette about the local chapter and the first meeting they had on Wednesday.
