Guitarist Rickey Medlocke says he promised he’d be there for Lynyrd Skynyrd “until the very last note in ‘Free Bird’ was struck.” He recently talked to NWADG Music Editor Monica Hooper about his time with the band and the current tour with ZZ Top and Uncle Kracker, stopping July 28 at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers.
