The Bentonville Parks and Recreation is looking at $32.75 million bond to pay for the 8th Street Gateway Park and westside trails, downtown projects like an update to Dave Peel Park and the new Bentonville Common and upgrades to Phillips Park and the Melvin Ford Aquatic Center at Memorial Park. David Wright, the director of Bentonville Parks and Recreation Department, talks about the park projects included in a $266 million bond issue the city will ask voters to approve on April 13.
